For example I just went to the park to play football and carried thr boots in my Daylite plus. But don't kniw if I actually will use that "utility" that muchit all that much. I do understand the more utility of the Daylite definitely. Can't go wrong with their backpacks from what I have seen Yea I think I will turn into an Osprey fan aswell lol. FWIW while the laptop pocket in the Daylite Plus isn’t as protective as the Arcane, it’s still pretty good, and much better than what was in my old Daylite. So it really depends on your use: do you want a minimal-looking school/office/laptop carry or a more versatile but less minimal-looking bag. The Daylite is ultimately a more versatile bag, but it’s not as nice-looking and the extra straps flop around when not in use. For my daily office carry I prefer the Arcane for it’s looks and laptop protection, but if I were hiking/biking I’d use the Daylite. I wouldn’t stress too much about the price difference because these bags will last you for many years, though Osprey has the hemp Arcane on sale, so for me the bags were the same price. The Daylite Plus will have more utility than the Arcane in a few areas: extra pockets (including two, larger water bottle pockets), support for hydration bladder, and extra straps that will provide more support when hiking or biking. Osprey has earned my loyalty, they’re fantastic. I haven’t used my Daylite Plus yet but I used an older version of the Daylite as my main bag for years. I really like the zipper design where it runs down the side of the pack. I think it looks classy, and it provides more protection for my laptop than the Daylite will, as the Arcane has more structure/padding.

I got the Arcane hemp version and I love it.

Good choices! I recently bought both of these bags for returning to the office.
